They reduce 99% of Lead and are certified to reduce Chlorine (taste and odor), Asbestos, Mercury, Benzene, Cadmium, and more. One Brita Elite™ filter can replace up to 900 16.9 oz plastic bottles and reduces more contaminants vs. PUR and ZeroWater (based on NSF/WQA certifications for Brita OB06, PUR PPF951K, and ZeroWater ZF-201 pitcher filters as of 8/17/21). The Brita water pitcher's flip lid makes refilling a breeze, while the SmartLight indicator is Brita's most accurate and precise pitcher filter life indicator. This large capacity water pitcher comes with one Brita Elite™ Water Filter, which should be changed every 120 gallons or about six months for best results based on average family usage and 120-gallon filter life.
